The Himalayan journey in Nepal comes to an end on this day. The representative of Bharal Adventure will drop the travelers at the airport approximately three hours before their scheduled flight.
Me and our team of 22 members did a trek in Khopra ridge with Arjun Dai and Suraj Dai and I must say Bharal Adventure team did not disappoint at all. Everything was well managed, the logistics, food, guides, porters all was superb from start to finish. They really taken a good care of all the members. It's not at all easy to manage such a diverse and a big group but Arjun Dai and team managed everything without any hindrance. Highly recommended team if someone looking for a trek in Nepal, already booked my next Trek to EBC with them.
Our guide, Suraj & porter, Ram are very friendly, funny people. Their hospitality service was more than i expected. Our guide also knew how to advice us on which trek is safe to go or not base on our ability as our safety is their top priority. They took ULTIMATE GREAT care of us throughout the whole journey until the end. We were ensured a comfortable, warm, and full stomach everyday. Also, booking a customized trip with Arjun from Bharal was very easy, smooth and he would answer all of our questions quickly. Great hospitality from beginning until the end!! Bharal Adventure was recommended by a friend & now I would also recommend them to others!! It was a great trekking experience with Bharal Adventure!! The Khopra Danda trek is a less crowded alternative to the popular Poon Hill trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.
The trek is considered moderate in terms of difficulty. It involves some steep ascents and descents, but it doesn't require technical climbing skills.
Trekkers need to obtain the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card. These can be obtained in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
Highlights include panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, rhododendron forests, traditional villages, and the serene Khayar Lake.
The maximum elevation on the Khopra Danda trek is lower than some other treks in the region, reducing the risk of altitude sickness. However, it's essential to acclimatize properly and be aware of symptoms.
